Instructions for abstract submission 

  • Both theoretical and empirical papers are encouraged.
  • Paper abstracts (250-300 words) must contain the title of the submission; name and position of the author(s); contact information (affiliation, full address, position, telephone, and email). If more than one author is listed, please identify the author who will make the presentation at the conference.
  • To avoid technical problems, we highly encourage early abstract submissions. If you do not receive a confirmation letter in 24 hours about receiving your abstract, please resend it or call any of the numbers given in contacts section.
  • Abstracts will be reviewed by the scientific committee.
  • Non-native English speakers must make sure the proper language usage.
  • Dates and deadlines are under the important dates section.
  • Notification of abstract acceptance or rejections will be sent via email.
  • Panel proposals must include panel title; organizer’s name, position, affiliation contact email; a synopsis (500 words), that outlines its goals and how it fits with the conference theme; names, positions, affiliations and contact details of the panelists; titles of the individual papers with abstracts (250-300 words each). Panel organizers are responsible for submitting all materials associated with their proposed session together. Each panel must include 3-4 papers, a chair and a discussant. Chairs and discussants can also be presenters.

Instructions for full paper submissions 

Authors should observe high academic standards. Plagiarism in any form is incompatible with research ethics and our values.

 

Along with the editorial process, manuscripts sent to the Organizing Committee will be peer-reviewed by corresponding experts. External reviewers will be blind to the names of the authors and the institution which the manuscripts have been sent from. If selected for publication, authors may be asked for modifications based on the opinions of the reviewers. If there is more than one author, consent from all authors is required for publication.

Preparation of the main text: 

  1. The length of articles is limited to about 5000-8000 words. Only in exceptional cases, studies exceeding this limit can be published.
  2. Articles must begin with a short abstract written by the author(s) not exceeding 250 words.
  3. The text must be aligned to the left margin, and without any text formatting applied (including capitals, larger or smaller font sizes, the use of color, etc.).
  4. The text may be subdivided into sections. Each section must have a title and number. Each section can be divided into subsections, numbered according to the scheme 2., 2.2. etc.
  5. Tables and graphs should be sent in excel or similar format too.
  6. Font type and size: Times New Roman, 12pt.
  7. The bibliographical references must be in-text-citation - given directly in the main text and not in the footnotes using the following format: (Csáki, 2010, p. 25). (Csáki – Kovács, 2010, p. 25) If more than three authors: (Csáki et al. 2010, p.25).
  8. Footnotes can only be used when additional information must be added the body of the text. Footnotes with continuous counting must appear at the bottom of the page.

  11. Authors are requested to give their scientific degrees and not more than two of their jobs or professional positions.
  12. The main text is followed by a reference list in ABC order using the following format: Kovacs, F. 2014: Budget Deficit. International Institution. Working Paper. 42. March, pp. 1-15.
